About Us
Reprise Choir Mission
The mission of Reprise Choir is to present our singers, audience, and community with a wide variety of choral music at the highest artistic level and to collaborate with student musicians, encouraging them to pursue music throughout their lifetime.

To execute a repetition of; repeat: They reprised the elaborate musical number in the third act.
Early on, reprise was a part in a song or other musical composition that is repeated. The word still carries that meaning, but now it’s more likely to be used as a verb to describe an action or part that is repeated, often a performance. For example, if you played a role in a wildly successful film that is going to have a sequel, you would reprise your role. The word comes from the French word repris , meaning “take back.”

Who We Are
We are a focused, creative and collegial choir made up of high caliber musicians with a passion to develop songs at the greatest artistic level. Drawing from the musical talents of singers in the Vancouver WA area, Reprise choral group tackles a wide variety of repertoire, from Jazz to Classical and everything in between.
Summer Choir
In the summer of Covid, several of the trebles of Reprise Choir got together with a few more trebles to sing outside for the enjoyment of others and to keep the music of Reprise going. This tradition has been kept alive and now our Summer Outreach Choir is called: The Treble Tones.
Beer Choir
What is beer choir? Sponsored by Reprise Choir, this is a community event that incorporates fun songs in a pub-like setting to be sung by anyone from 0-92, or so the song goes. No need to drink beer, or be able to carry a tune – you just need to be able to have fun!
About us
The Story in Full
A strong, collaborative bond developed between the co-directors of the Clark College Chorale, Vancouver WA USA, Janet Reiter and April Duvic, and their musicians as they performed together from Sept 2007 to June 2013. Singers and audiences embraced their mutual commitment to present diverse repertoire at the highest artistic level. Their concert structure honored the historical significance of choral pieces as well as their technical and expressive elements. Rehearsals were disciplined, educational and joyful.
Reprise was born of the need to relive this unforgettable adventure; to experience again the personal rejuvenation and communal gratification that thrives within a focused, creative and collegial environment. Their life-long passion to develop songs from the composer-intent stage to final concert interpretations of the highest integrity resonates with patrons. A win-win partnership between singers, directors and community members that began nearly a decade ago lives on in Reprise today, in the heart of SW Washington – Vancouver & Camas.
